Installing Hackintosh on a Dell XPS 15 with an Intel Core i7-14700 processor is a challenging task that requires careful planning, preparation, and execution. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

Hardware Requirements:

  • Dell XPS 15 (2022 or later) with Intel Core i7-14700 processor
  • USB drive (at least 8GB in size)
  • Ethernet cable
  • HDMI cable (optional)

Software Requirements:

  • macOS High Sierra or later (you can use the latest version available)
  • Hackintosh patcher tool (like Multibeast or UniBeast)
  • Clover bootloader
  • macOS installation media (available from Apple’s website)

Step 1: Prepare the USB Drive

  1. Download the Hackintosh patcher tool (Multibeast or UniBeast) and extract the contents to the root directory of your USB drive.
  2. Format the USB drive as FAT32, ensuring that it’s not FAT32NTFS (this will prevent the installation process from working).
  3. Download the macOS installation media from Apple’s website and create a bootable USB drive using the downloaded image.

Step 2: Create a Bootable USB Drive

  1. Connect the USB drive to your Dell XPS 15.
  2. Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS settings by pressing F2 or Del (depending on your system).
  3. Set the boot order to USB first, and save the changes.
  4. Boot from the Hackintosh patcher tool on the USB drive.
  5. Follow the prompts to install the necessary drivers and patches.

Step 3: Install macOS

  1. Insert the macOS installation media into your laptop.
  2. Boot from the installation media by restarting your laptop and entering the BIOS settings.
  3. Set the boot order to USB first, and save the changes.
  4. Boot from the installation media and start the installation process.
  5. Follow the prompts to select your language, country, and other preferences.
  6. Select “Disk Utility” and format your hard drive as APFS (Apple File System).
  7. Quit Disk Utility and continue with the installation process.

Step 4: Install Clover Bootloader

  1. After installing macOS, restart your laptop and boot back into Windows.
  2. Download Clover bootloader and extract its contents to a folder on your desktop.
  3. Open a command prompt as administrator and navigate to the folder containing Clover bootloader.
  4. Run the following command to install Clover bootloader:
.\CloverSetup.exe /s /f /p /l
  1. Follow the prompts to complete the installation process.

Step 5: Configure Clover Bootloader

  1. Restart your laptop and boot into Windows.
  2. Open Clover bootloader by pressing F12 or Del (depending on your system).
  3. Navigate to “Configurations” > “Boot” > “Advanced Options” > “Reset NVRAM” and reset NVRAM.
  4. Save changes and exit Clover bootloader.

Step 6: Boot into macOS

  1. Restart your laptop and hold down the Option (⌥) key while booting.
  2. Select “macOS” as your startup disk and press Enter.

You should now be booting into macOS! Keep in mind that this is just a basic guide, and you may need to troubleshoot issues specific to your hardware configuration.
